The Bigfork Art & Cultural Center sponsored the event and a dozen locals enjoyed the beauty and fire. While Moore has worked with Proctor for 9 years, Collins, 18, just started. She worked for Proctor Studios as part of her Bigfork High School senior project and the boss was so impressed, he hired her as an assistant when she graduated. Collins said she would make it a career. Temperatures were the theme. It was 85 degrees outside, 112 degrees inside, 1,000 degrees in the cooling kiln and 2,800 degrees in the kiln.
