BMS hoops sign ups Will be in the office. Practices are scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 16. We will have a parent meeting at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 9 in the MS gym.

Parents of fifth and sixth graders will need to complete a hold harmless-indemnification form provided at the office. Seventh and Eighth will need a physical & concussion form.

Time to update 7th-grade shots Per Montana law, all 7th grade students need to have a Tdap (tetanus, pertussis) booster prior to the start of their 7th grade year. K-4 Counseling Program My name is Mary Ahnert. I have been a teacher and counselor with the Bigfork School District since 1989. This year I am the counselor for students in kindergarten through fourth grade. My goal is to influence all students to think and be responsible. When students and I work together we focus on meeting these four social/emotional needs: Achievement, Respect, Fun, Freedom so that they are equipped for success at home and school. Student/Family Support There are many families who could use support in purchasing school supplies. GIRLS ON THE RUN All 3rd -5th grade girls: Girls on the Run is starting this fall! Bigfork Elementary School is proud to present the introduction of Girls on the Run to Bigfork. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based, positive youth development program that inspires girls in 3rd through 5th grade to be joyful, healthy and confident. The program fee for the fall season is $150, and scholarship funding is available to those who qualify. For more information, go to

SCHOOL BANDS The Bigfork Band program includes all instrumental performing groups including beginner (6th) band, Middle School Band (7-8), High School Jazz Band, Viking Pep Band and the Bigfork Concert Band.
